Based in a beautiful part of Portsonachan in the grounds of our hotel, we are the perfect place to escape from the pressures of modern life. We are close to Oban and a great base for exploring Argyll.
We have 9 wooden lodges to choose from, set in atmospheric woods on the shores of a stunning Loch Awe. Some of the lodges even boast a built-in sauna and hot tub. All the lodges are beautifully furnished and come with everything you need for a relaxing stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, comfy lounge, attractive bedrooms and modern bathrooms.

Our luxurious premium lodges offer the ultimate rustic retreat, great for a family or group holiday. They come with brand new bathrooms and state-of-the-art kitchens including wine coolers, ice makers and top-of-the-range appliances. The lodges include 3 separate bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a sauna, a spacious lounge with Satellite TV and a kitchen/dining area. Outside there is garden furniture and a built-in BBQ for al fresco dining.Loch Side
We also have 10 one-bedroom apartments to stay in, adjacent to the hotel. These charming apartments are individually furnished and comes with an upstairs double bedroom and en suite bathroom. Downstairs is the Villeroy and Boch Wetroom, a lounge, fully fitted kitchen and a private patio that enjoys glorious loch views.
Our Coach House building is pet friendly, making it perfect for your four-legged friends. The building offers 1- and 2-bedroom apartments which sleep between 2 – 6 people.
This part of the country has an abundance of gorgeous coastal routes and amazing scenery to see. You can enjoy salmon fishing on The River Orchy whilst savouring the view, a true haven for fishing enthusiasts. Visit nearby Oban and its famous distillery which offers guided tours of the whisky process. Wander around beautiful Arduaine Garden and see the stunning range of plants.
