Our 4 cottages are based in a stunning location on Ardensture Estate, ideal for ramblers, anglers, history buffs, whisky connoisseurs and wildlife lovers. Only 16 miles away is the seafood capital of Scotland, Oban.
Our 4 cottages offer everything you need for a relaxing holiday. The whole site is very secluded with an easy approach to the hills behind and the woodland and the shoreline to the front. All the cottage comes with a toasty wood burner, electric heating, comfortable bedrooms, cosy living areas, well-equipped kitchens and modern bathrooms.
Our largest property sleeps up to 10 people and has a downstairs king-size room and family bedroom with 4 singles. Downstairs there is a shower room and upstairs there is a king-size bedroom and twin room that share a bathroom. Rooms include an open-plan lounge/diner, fully-equipped kitchen and Laundry room. Outside there is a gravel terrace and picnic bench for al fresco dining.
This cottage sleeps up to 6 in 3 bedrooms: 1 downstairs king-size en suite room and a first-floor king and twin room. Downstairs there is a shower and an open plan lounge/diner/kitchen. Outside there is a gravel terrace with a picnic bench, offering views over Loch Melfort.
Our property sleeps 6 in a ground floor bedroom and two upstairs rooms, a king and twin room. A downstairs shower and upstairs bathroom are also available. You can unwind in the lovely open plan lounge/diner/kitchen. The cottage enjoys views over Loch Melfort.
Only nestled yards from Loch Melfort’s high tide, the cottage sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms: 1 downstairs king-size room and an upstairs king and twin bedroom. There is a bathroom, shower room, laundry room, kitchen, dining room and lounge with an open fire.
Loch Melfort is one of the series of many sea lochs along the western seaboard of Scotland. The islands of Mull, Iona, Colonsay, Tiree and Coll are easy trips by the islands steamer from Oban. The area has a large selection of wildflowers with birds, deer, seals and otter as frequent visitors. Attractions to visit include:
