Tredington, Shipston-on-Stour, Warwickshire
Summary
Tredington Mill is an 18th Century Warwickshire water mill offering self catering accommodation located in Tredington near Shipston-on-Stour in Warwickshire. Puddle Cottage
This holiday cottage is a peaceful retreat with French windows that open onto a courtyard garden where there are a set of table and chairs. Our courtyard garden is the perfect spot to catch the sun and enjoy an evening drink with an unspoilt view of the river and its island, teeming with wildlife just a few feet away. Our centrally heated holiday home retains many original features including exposed beams. It is on three floors. There is a fully fitted kitchen (electric hob and oven), dining area seating 4 and lounge space with a widescreen TV on the ground floor. The 1st floor has a double bed room with a separate shower room/WC. On the top floor there is a twin/double bedroom, connecting to an en suite bathroom, with a shower over the bath.
The mill stream that runs through this self catering cottage means that it is is not suitable for unsupervised children, but well behaved pets are welcome.
Pool View
A cosy holiday cottage that still retains many of its original features such as exposed beams, steep staircases and large mill windows that make the most of the exceptional views. Guests to the holiday cottage are welcome to enjoy the garden, where you will find tables and chairs so you can relax next to the river. The garden is a river island that splits the River Stour to feed the mill stream. It has a weir and a notable weeping willow and you might see swans, kingfishers, herons and if you are very lucky, the occasional otter. Take a picnic or a glass of wine down to the weir. Children love playing near the river but need to be supervised. The comfortable centrally heated holiday accommodation is on 2 floors. The living room, separate fully fitted kitchen/dining room and WC are on the 1st floor.
Upstairs there is 1 double and 1 twin/double bedroom. The bathroom has an electric shower over the bath. In addition to basics, you will find a welcome hospitality gift including fruit and flowers.
Pool View is available for long and short stays. Changeover is on Fridays for weekly and weekend breaks. Mid-week breaks are Monday to Friday. Please do ask if you have any special dates that need accommodating. When possible we are happy to be flexible.
For safety reasons, we ask guests not to light any sort of candle in the property.
