The Cabin, located at the back of 98 Melford Road in Sudbury, is situated within a spacious garden. This garden has been newly redesigned, featuring a large pond, elevated planting beds and an assortment of grasses that foster a Mediterranean ambiance. A well-appointed summer house stands at the garden's far end.
It has been crafted in a New England style and accommodates up to two guests in a self-catering format. For secure access, a key safe is provided.
The main accommodation area includes a large room that can be arranged with either a super king-sized bed or two singles. This room also features a lounge area with armchairs, a dining table and a TV. Adjacent to this is a kitchenette equipped with cupboards, a fridge, microwave, a small induction hob, toaster, hairdryer, iron and ironing board. On the opposite side, a shower room contains a washbasin and toilet. All necessary bedding, towels and toiletries are supplied. The cosy cabin is double glazed and fully insulated throughout.
The Cabin adheres closely to the principles of the Fairtrade Foundation, extensively utilising Fairtrade products. It is a recipient of the Fairtrade Pledge Certificate.
Sudbury itself is a historic market town rich in heritage, characterised by its medieval churches and Tudor-era houses. The town is home to a museum dedicated to Thomas Gainsborough, a notable painter born here. Sudbury offers a diverse array of shops and dining options and hosts a bustling market on Thursdays and Saturdays, drawing visitors from nearby villages.
