Lochussie Cabins are located just outside the town of Dingwall, perfectly placed for day trips to some of the Highlands’ most scenic spots. The beautiful Black Isle is nearby and Loch Ness is easily accessible for a memorable day out. The West Coast, with its breathtaking landscapes, is also within reach for those looking to explore further afield.
Each cabin is equipped with central heating, which can be adjusted using the control unit on the wall beneath the TV. Hot water is available on demand whenever the taps are turned on, ensuring comfort throughout your stay.
The cabins are designed to comfortably accommodate two adults and two children, featuring one king-size bed and a fold-out double sofa bed. Storage space is available with two drawers located under the main bed.
Guests are reminded that the kettle and toaster must be used in front of the boiler, rather than directly underneath it, for safety reasons. For colder days, a log burner is available to use. The air controls are pre-set at the midpoint for optimal burning and a supply of logs is provided. If additional logs are needed, they can be purchased for an extra charge.
There are several distilleries within easy reach, many of which have visitor centres where you can sample their unique offerings. For a special day out, take a train from Dingwall along the Kyle Line, one of the most scenic railway journeys in the world. Or, if you prefer to unwind, simply relax at the cabin and watch red kites glide overhead — a frequent and delightful sight in this peaceful setting.
