Alndyke Farm Holidays provide a pair of self catering holiday cottages. It also has a self contained annex. They are located on a farm outside of Alnwick. The town has plenty of amenities as well as interesting places to visit. This is an ideal location for those looking for a relaxing break away. It is also a great base for exploring Northumberland.
Apple Tree & Bay Cottage
Apple Tree Cottage has its own small garden. Bay Cottage has a larger garden with picnic tables.Both have a wood burner (which runs the central heating), TV & DVD player. The ground floor comprises of a large kitchen. This is equipped with:
Dishwasher.
Washing machine.
Dryer.
Microwave.
Freezer.
There is a downstairs toilet and washbasin.
On the 1st floor there are 3 bedrooms which include 2 doubles and a twin.
There is a bathroom with WC, hand basin and a shower over the bath. All fuel and power is included in the rent. Bed linen is also included. Milk and bread provided on arrival. A cot is available.
Farmers Cottage
This 1 bedroomed annex is next to the farmhouse. The living space is open plan. There are French doors that lead to a patio and seating area.Visiting Alnwick & Exploring Northumberland
Alnwick town centre is a 30 minute walk away. It includes shops, places to eat and Alnwick Garden. Alnwick Castle and Garden is 1.5 miles away. The castle was used in the filming of Harry Potter.Northumberland is a magical county packed with attractions. These include:
Bamburgh Castle.
Bailiffgate Museum.
Belsay Hall.
Wallington Hall.
