Helme Pasture Lodges & Cottages offer comfortable and cosy self catering accommodation set in picturesque surroundings in Summerbridge, Harrogate. There are superb views over the surrounding dales and the freedom to explore the many moorland and woodland tracks in this tranquil area of North Yorkshire.

These are new individually designed buildings. They can be used as one larger home, but more usually they will be divided into 2 complete and fully equipped lodges - ideal for couples or larger groups who are looking for the peace and tranquillity of the woodland surroundings together with every modern comfort.

Each Scandinavian style lodge has a spacious open plan living area with quality furnishings, TV, dining room suite and an exceptionally well fitted kitchen. The lodges are distinctive in design and size with spacious, open plan living rooms, fully equipped modern kitchens, bathrooms as well as showers.

The lodges are double glazed and well insulated for year round comfort; after all, they were built for arctic conditions! Each lodge has its own car parking at the rear. They are on one level with wheelchair access, permitting those with walking difficulties to enjoy the birds and wildlife from the comfort of their home.

The resident family's converted farmhouse and cottages nestle at the side of a steep hill on an unclassified country road in the beautiful Nidderdale countryside, on the edge of the spectacular Yorkshire Dales. All face South overlooking wonderful views.

The cottages sleep from 2-4 people. They are open all year and are available for long or short lets. They are well equipped and in a superb location surrounded by mature woodland, within several miles of many attractions such as Fountains Abbey, Ripley and Brimham Rocks and Pateley Bridge.

Farmhouse Studio Suite: This quiet, private studio on the ground floor of the converted farmhouse has been created to enable guests to be independent. South facing, the studio overlooks the secluded garden. It is well furnished, complete with a double bed and television and there is an en suite bath and separate shower. The kitchen area provides simple catering facilities, with fridge, microwave with grill, toaster and all the basic essentials for self catering.

The Byre: This is on the ground floor of the converted farmhouse. There is a double bedroom and an open plan sitting room with additional sleeping. There is an integral kitchen/dining area. The bathroom and landing are at the top of a small flight of stairs. There are all the facilities needed for a comfortable holiday for up to 2+ people.

The Old Barn: This is above the Byre with a large open plan living/dining/kitchen. It has 2 large windows and sunlight floods through into the room. A staircase leads onto the top floor with large windows overlooking woodland at the back. The double bedroom leads through to the twin. Although sometimes available for short term lets, this is currently used on a long term let.

Helme Pasture is in the Nidderdale Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty next to the Yorkshire Dales National Park. There is fascinating scenery and countryside activities for all types of holidays, relax or be energetic- walk, cycle – visit local villages, markets, towns and attractions, there is sure to be something here for everyone.
