Despite its central location, a five-minute walk from the door takes you off-road and into the scenic trails of one of England's oldest forests. Enjoy miles of traffic-free walking or cycling and visit local landmarks such as Puzzlewood (filming location for Harry Potter, Merlin, and Star Wars), The Sculpture Trail, Symonds Yat and the beautiful River Wye. Keep an eye out for wildlife, especially the wild boar, though they're more likely to avoid you!
The house accommodates 25 guests in 11 en-suite bedrooms. As a former 4-star hotel, it is superbly equipped with multiple lounges, a games room with a slate-bed pool table and a stunning dining room where everyone can gather comfortably. The real chef’s kitchen is perfect for group cooking and baking activities.
Outside, enjoy the garden, barbecue, furnished patio and a funky hot tub area for relaxing after a day of forest adventures or canoeing down the nearby Wye.
All bedrooms are en-suite, most with TVs, featuring modern, spacious and comfortable bathrooms. The ground floor includes a double en-suite bedroom plus a twin room with an adjacent bathroom.
