Kempley Barns offers wonderful self catering accommodation in Upton Bishop, set within 50 acres of gardens. Our 3 barns near Ross-on-Wye are a great base from which to explore the Malvern Hills and Wye Valley, both of which are designated Areas of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Our barn looks south-west across the meadows and orchards. The kitchen adjoins the open plan vaulted living area. The dining area is perfect for a romantic meal. A spiral staircase leads you from the living area to a glass balconied vaulted sleeping platform with an ensuite bathroom. A welcome hamper, towels, robes and luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linen all add to the comfort of your stay.
We offer accommodation in Great Barn, sleeping up to 6 people. The spacious entrance hall and living area are adjoined by two en suite bedrooms secretly lit by the original arrow-slit windows. From the entrance hall ascend the stone spiral staircase leading to the dramatic split-level, open-plan living area and a third double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. The well equipped kitchen comes with a range of appliances. A welcome hamper, towels, robes and luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linen all add to the comfort of your stay.
The Granary has a double-height living space with a log burning stove and a separate fully appointed kitchen and dining area, with French doors leading into a secluded garden leading down to the stream. There are three double bedrooms and a twin-bedded room. Two of the double bedrooms are at ground level, one of which is en suite whilst the other has a wet room suitable for people with limited mobility. A welcome hamper, towels, robes and luxurious Egyptian cotton bed linen all add to the comfort of your stay.
We have a heated limestone-clad heated indoor pool which is available free of charge.
