Recently renovated, the cottage is spacious, comfortable and full of character, ideally situated for discovering beautiful North Wales. Dinorwig is famous for its Hydro Electric Power station which is built within the mountain.
About Glan Y Gors
The holiday cottage is semi detached and can sleep 10 - 12. There are four bedrooms, two twin rooms and two spacious bedrooms with a double and single bed in each. A cot is available on request.Inside the cottage: There are three bathrooms, two with bath/shower and one with shower only. A large modern fully fitted kitchen/dining room with washing machine. A 21ft long lounge with a real fire. Oil central heating. Outside there is a large enclosed garden with patio furniture and ample off road parking for several cars.
Furnishings: The cottage is fully equipped. Initial supplies of toilet rolls, cloths, bin liners, bath cleaners, washing up liquid are supplied.
Heating and Lighting: Electricity and oil are included. There is a wood burning stove in the lounge, a supply of wood and guidance will be provided. The log fire is supplementary to the central heating.
Bed linen: Bed linen is provided - beds will be made up for your arrival. Cot and highchair and safety gates are also provided but please bring your own cot bedding. For holidays of more than one week, fresh bed linen may be provided if requested.

Visiting Dinorwig & Exploring Gwynedd
This self catering holiday cottage is well situated for discovering the many attractions within Snowdonia. Some are on your doorstep like Llanberis, the village at the foot of Snowdon which is about 5 miles away by car and about 2 miles on foot (fairly steep hill). In Llanberis, there are many attractions including the Snowdon Mountain Railway, Llanberis Lake Railway, the National Slate Museum and the Power of Wales exhibition which includes a tour of the Power Station. In addition, there is boating and watersports on the lake as well as walks in the Padarn Country Park.The area is ideal for having an active holiday, taking advantage of all the facilities and attractions locally, or for just relaxing and slowing down and taking in the beautiful scenery. You can either enjoy short scenic walks from the house or tackle the same of the famous 14 Peaks over 3000 feet. The beaches are located all around the North Wales coast and on Anglesey. There are many beautiful, large, sandy beaches (within 25m), some with Blue flags status.
