About Bookham Court Cottages

All the self catering cottages had free Wi-Fi, smart TVs and a well equipped kitchen including:

Microwave oven.
Dishwasher.
Fridge.
Freezer
Washing machine.
Tumble dryer.

There is a highchair, stairgate and cot for those travelling with younger children. All cottages have a TV, electric underfloor heating and ventilation systems. Linen & towels provided.

The Wagon House

Sleeps 4 + cot. This accommodation is a single storey cottage of great character, standing apart from Great Coombe and Little Coombe. It has a spacious and very comfortable sitting/dining room with wooden floors, traditional beams and a wood burner in an Inglenook fireplace. The main features of the cottage are as follows: A double bedroom with a 5' bed and twin bedroom, wheelchair access. Shower room and WC, private patio, furniture and shared garden (lawn).

Great Coombe

Sleeps 8 + cot. This comfortably furnished two storey cottage is attached to Little Coombe. It has a spacious sitting and dining room, with wooden flooring, beams and Inglenook fireplace with wood burner. The main features of the cottage are as follows: Ground floor twin bedded room with en suite shower room and WC which is suitable for the disabled. First floor double bedroom with balcony and en suite shower room, single and twin bedrooms. Family bathroom and WC. Large patio with furniture and garden.

Little Coombe

Sleeps 4 + cot. This recently refurbished two storey cottage attached to Great Coombe. Spacious and very comfortable, there is an open plan sitting room with an Inglenook fireplace, wood burner and wooden floors. You will find it warm and cosy throughout the year. The main features of the cottage are as follows: A separate WC, a double en suite bedroom and a twin or zip and link second bedroom with an en suite shower room. Private patio with furniture and shared garden, plus a luxurious hot tub.

Crowthorne Cottage

This luxury barn conversion is furnished to a very high standard. It combines old and modern to give a contemporary feel. The large open plan ground floor has a large kitchen with range cooker, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. Leather sofas add style to the sitting area, with TV/DVD player and CD player. A good quality sofa bed allows sleeping accommodation for an additional 2 guests. The cottage dining table will seat up to 10 guests. A downstairs twin bedroom is available. This room has an en suite disabled shower/wet room, graded M3. Ground floor has underfloor heating on wooden floors and radiators upstairs. First floor: Two double bedrooms, both with en suite bathrooms. Twin bedroom with en suite shower room. Crowthorne Cottage has a large private patio and garden with garden furniture, BBQ and games.

All our cottages have use of a games room and there is a scenic small lake onsite.

Visiting Alton Pancras & Exploring Dorset

There is easy access to a range of nearby footpaths including both the Hardy Trail and Wessex Way. Bookham Court also provides a gateway to 400 acres of environmentally sensitive land, including several fishing lakes that supply course fishing free of charge. Only 10 miles from the historic towns of Dorchester and Sherborne and 20 miles from the traditional seaside town of Weymouth, you're never too far from South Dorset's varied population. Country gardens, castles, abbeys and hamlets can be found throughout the local region, with something for everyone just waiting to be discovered. We also have a wildlife hide with interactive cameras to bird boxes and badger sets.
