For those who are looking for a break away from the hustle and bustle of modern-day living, Kirkandrews House is the perfect place to stay. It sleeps up to 13 people, has wonderful views over the Border Esk, is a great base for exploring North East England & the Scottish Borders and best of all pets are very welcome.

About Kirkandrews House

We want guests to feel right at home from the moment they arrive, so have ensured that the house is comfortably furnished and includes everything you need for an enjoyable self catering break away. This listed property has been created from a barn and two cottages. The house has been thoughtfully decorated in warm, neutral colours and is carpeted throughout, apart from the kitchen and bathroom areas. There is plenty of space with three different rooms to sit and do your own thing and a large dining room which allows you all to come together for meals.

Study with widescreen TV, FreeSat receiver, DVD player and Jetmaster open log fire.
Large hall with galleried landing, a large sofa and a multi-use pool/table tennis table.
Sitting room with open log fire and radio/iPod dock.
Bar area with small fridge and mini dishwasher.
Dining room seating up to 15 and an open log fire.
Well-equipped kitchen with oil-fired Aga.
Utility room with Belfast sink, washing machine and tumble dryer.

The location of the house means that wonderful countryside views can be enjoyed from many of the rooms, especially the bedrooms. What better way to wake up than looking over the beautiful English countryside. With seven bedrooms to choose from, we hope all guests find one to suit them. Bedrooms comprise of:

Bedroom 1: Double/twin room with en suite shower room.
Bedroom 2: Double/twin room.
Bedroom 3: Double/twin room with en suite bathroom.
Bedroom 4: Double/twin room.
Bedroom 5: Single room.
Bedroom 6: Double/twin room with en suite facilities. The en suite has a bath with shower over.

Please advise when booking if you require double or twin set up in the dedicated rooms.

Spending time outside is so important when booking a break away. There is plenty of space for the whole family to relax and play, along with games equipment that can be used outside such as badminton set, boules and croquet.

On those days when you want to sight-see and explore the area, you will not be short of attractions and places of interest that the whole family can enjoy. From walking opportunities to shopping, history and adrenaline activities, the area has it all.
