This colourful and angular property sleeps 4. There is a double en suite and twin en suite.
Like Cedrus the accommodation is open plan and well equipped.
Both properties have been designed to have minimum impact on the environment. The timber is mainly larch felled and they are insulated in two layers.
Our 17th Century barn offers lots of character, including exposed beams and stonework.
The cottage has 1 double, 1 twin and 1 single bedroom. There is a lounge with comfy seating, a dining area and a fully equipped kitchen. Facilities include a wood burner.
This is a peaceful location, however there is a vegetarian restaurant and coffee shop onsite.
Next door is Hutton-in-the-Forest Country House which is 400 years old. There are various events held here throughout the year.
The area is ideal for walking, cycling and fishing. Penrith is a short drive away. The town has a mixture of shops and places to eat. It is rich in history and provides a selection of attractions such as Penrith Castle.
Cumbria is a rural county, home to The Lake District. It has interesting towns, villages and an array of attractions. Some examples of places to visit include:
Scafell Pike.
Hadrian's Wall.
Carlisle Castle.
Furness Abbey.
Yorkshire Dales.
