Accommodation

Our ground floor level cottage has been tastefully converted from the dairy adjoining the owner’s farmhouse. The cottage dates from 1860 and still retains lots of original character and sleeps up to 2 people. Features include a beamed ceiling and exposed stone walls in the large open plan lounge, kitchen and dining room.

Inside we have a well-equipped kitchen with fitted oak units, a built-in electric cooker with ceramic hob, microwave oven, refrigerator, iron, toaster and all necessary utensils. The lounge and dining room offers a great spot to relax after a day sightseeing. Facilities include a 2-seater sofa, a flat screen Smart TV, plus a DVD and CD player and an Ipod dock.

The bedroom comes with a double bed and there is a bathroom with a shower over bath and wash basin and WC.

Outside we have patio and garden table and chairs, ideal for a drink or two in the afternoon sun.

Visiting Boscastle & Exploring Cornwall

Our cottage is only half a mile from Thomas Hardy’s Church at St Juliot, whilst the south west coastal path is a mile away. Boscastle is only one and half miles away. You can also enjoy sandy surfing beaches or explore the wild rugged scenery of Bodmin Moor. Activities in the area include fishing, cycling, rock climbing and golfing. Attractions to visit include:

Tate gallery at St Ives.
Tintagel Castle.
St Nectan’s Glen
Eden Project.
Lost Gardens of Heligan.
