Kingfisher Yurt - Sleeps 2

This circular Turkoman-style yurt is constructed from coppiced sweet chestnut and ash, all crafted by hand. A transparent roof wheel offers stunning daytime sky views and nighttime stargazing opportunities. Inside, the yurt features a spacious king-size bed, with additional space for two camp beds if needed. Relax in your private wild garden, complete with a wood-fired hot tub and a hammock in the dappled shade. A cast-iron wood-burning stove keeps the space warm, complemented by a cosy sofa and a dining table for two. The private kitchen is equipped with an electric 2-ring hob, dishwasher, toaster, kettle, and all the necessary utensils, pots, and pans you might need.

Hazel Tree Cabin - Sleeps 2

Situated beside a chalk stream, this insulated timber cabin provides a cosy escape with a king-size bed, kitchenette and indoor/outdoor dining options. The veranda is perfect for relaxing with a book in the hammock, sipping bubbly in the freestanding bath, or unwinding in the private wood-fired hot tub.

Badger's Bower - Sleeps 2

Inspired by Britain’s historical 'tin tabernacles,' this hand-built hideaway offers a romantic woodland retreat. It features a king-size bed, a kitchen and a dining area. Enjoy a soak in the freestanding bath with views of the surrounding woods, or relax in the outdoor wood-fired hot tub under the stars.

Our accommodation is designed to be eco-friendly and have minimal impact on the surrounding woodland and chalk stream, featuring amenities like hot and cold running water, electricity and included bed linen and towels.

The wood-fired hot tub is available for an additional cost, payable upon arrival: £70 for a 2-night mid-week stay, £115 for a 4-night mid-week stay, and £90 for weekends, which includes the initial wood supply (additional wood can be purchased if needed).

Enhance your stay with a pre-booked 1-hour private session in our wood-fired barrel sauna, complete with a cold plunge bath, for £25 per session, essential oils included. Please bring your own towels.

The Area

Marylebone to Wendover is 45 minutes on the Metropolitan Line and there is a tube from Amersham to Wendover, which is 2 stops. There is plenty to see and do in the area, including:

Waddesdon Manor.
Discover Bucks Museum.
David Bowie Sculpture.
Buckinghamshire Railway Centre.

Rates: From £350 to £375 for 2 nights mid-week (check in Mon or Wed).
From £575 for Weekends (3 nights, check in Fri).
Maximum of 2 people in each retreat, although 2 more can be accommodated in the yurt if required.
