Summary

Sealladh an Loch provides superb self catering accommodation near the village of Foyers, nestled on the south shore of Loch Ness. Our property near Inverness is next door to historic Boleskine House and is surrounded by mountains, forests and fields. Further afield you can visit a range of attractions in Inverness-shire.

Accommodation

We are based in a conservation area and offer views of Loch Ness. Built to the side of a mountain, our house is surrounded by pasture where sheep often graze.

This purpose-built house sleeps up to 12 people and offers simple decor combined with luxury features, including Egyptian cotton bedding, Harris Tweed curtains and throws, rugs and cushions from Skyeskyns, hand-soap from Highland soaps and whisky-barrel furniture from Darach.

Inside we have a snooker hall with a full-size snooker table, Italian leather sofas and a whiskey-barrel bar table. Above the room is a galleried landing and the glazed frontage enjoys views of Loch Ness. On the galleried landing, there is seating and double doors open to a balcony. We also have a snug room with a log-burning stove to unwind in.

The well-equipped kitchen-diner comes with granite worktops and a range of appliances, including a double-oven range cooker, 6-hob, microwave, large fridge/freezer, separate drinks fridge and dishwasher. The dining table seats 12 people. A sunroom comes with seating and offers wonderful views. A utility room houses a washing machine and ironing board.

Bedrooms consist of 3 doubles and 3 twins. The double rooms all come with en suite facilities and the 2 first-floor twin rooms share a family bathroom. On the ground floor is a twin en suite room.

Outside we have a patio area, including garden benches and two charcoal BBQs. There is also a decked area to enjoy and steeply sloped gardens which offer a natural style.

Visting Foyers & Exploring Inverness-shire

We are just a short stroll from the shores of Loch Ness, reached via walking through the forest across the road. Our house is on the route on South Loch Ness Trail and only 1.5 miles from us is the Falls of Foyers. Fishing on Loch Ness with a ghillie can be arranged. Attractions to visit include:
