Beech and Birch Cottages are centrally located in the heart of the picturesque village of Hartington near Buxton in Derbyshire. The holiday cottages are in an ideal base from which to explore the Peak District National Park. The cottages are approximately 200 yards from the local village shops, Post Office and Inns.
Accommodation
The holiday cottages are 3 storey stone cottages and are adjacent to each other.Beech Cottage sleeps 7 people in 3 bedrooms: 1 KS, 1 single, I family with a double bed and 2 single beds. Birch Cottage sleeps 7 people in 3 bedrooms: I KS, 1 double (but with access from one side of the bed only) 1 family with a KS and a single. Each self catering cottage has a lawned front garden, at the front, with table and chairs and BBQ and lockable storage for cycles. A private off road car parking space is available for one car at each property, with ample additional car parking available on the quiet adjacent road.
The interior of each cottage comprises of Lounge, Kitchen/Diner, Bathroom and three bedrooms.
The holiday cottages are personally supervised by ourselves, and we are close at hand should you need any help or assistance. We are able to offer you advice on activities and places to visit in the area, as we are “locals”, Fred being born and has lived in Hartington all his life, we have a wealth of local information. We take pride in our cottages, and our high standard of housekeeping reflects this.

Visiting Harington & Exploring Derbyshire
The location of the cottages make them a perfect base for walking in Derbyshire the Peak District, with many hiking routes available directly from the front door. Wolfscote Dale through to Dove Dale, Biggin Dale, and Pillsbury Hollow are favourites with everyone. We can offer you advice on walks in the beautiful countryside close by. We are also the perfect spot for cycling and visiting the many historic houses the local area has to offer, such as Chatsworth House and Haddon Hall.Please visit our website for more information.
