Accommodation

Our wonderful cottage sleeps 2 people and is perfect for a romantic getaway in an idyllic location. The cottage is stylishly furnished and finished to the highest standards to make youR stay as comfortable as possible.

Inside this charming cottage is a fully-equipped kitchen for home dining, including an integrated refrigerator with a freezer compartment, dishwasher, electric cooker, hob and extractor fan, plus a breakfast bar with padded stools. On the ground floor, there is also a lavish shower room with a walk-in shower, illuminated wall mirror with shaving socket and heated towel rail.

Upstairs there is a comfy living area with seating, a TV/DVD player with Sky-Q and a flame-effect electric stove. This is a great spot to relax after a day sightseeing. You can enjoy a peaceful night’s sleep on the sumptuous king-size bed.

Outside there is a stunning cottage garden to unwind in, offering stone walls, grottos, water, quirky features, a pond and lots of seating areas.

Visiting Laversdale & Exploring Cumbria

We are in the ideal location for exploring the area, with Hadrian’s Wall Path just 2 fields away. We are less than 1/2 hr to the Birdoswald Roman Fort along Hadrian's Wall, and 12 miles to The Solway Coast. The lovely city of Carlisle is only 8 miles way and we are just 10 miles from Gretna Green and 10 minutes from the M6 motorway. Superb attractions to visit include:

Cumbria's Museum of Military Life.
Talkin Tarn Country Park.
